St. Joseph Manor II is a new construction, 150-unit, 5-story development that will be located in Pompano Beach, FL and will serve Seniors (62+). Smith & Henzy secured $8.25 million from Broward County to make St. Joseph Manor II a reality. Currently, the 8.6-acre site, which is owned by the Archdiocese of Miami, contains a church and St. Joseph Manor I, which is made up of 63-units of low-income housing for seniors. All 63-units at St. Joseph Manor I are covered by a HUD HAP contract. St. Joseph Manor II will contain 149 one-bedroom units and 1 two-bedroom manager unit. Catholic Health Management, the manager of St. Joseph Manor I and II provides a range of supportive services and on-site security personnel. All 150 units at St. Joseph Manor II will be reserved for households earning up to 60% of AMI. Of the 150-units, 100-units will receive project-based vouchers from the Deerfield Beach Housing Authority. We are currently under construction on St. Joseph Manor II and are working towards moving residents in by Fall 2024.
